Change the System Language on the iPad Air 2

In order to change the language of your iPad, you need to have the tablet unlocked
Then, tap on the "Settings" icon
It is a gray-and-silver gear-shaped icon.
Once the "Settings" menu opens up, tap on the "General" option
You need to tap on "General" only if it's not already highlighted in blue.
Then, scroll the right side down until you find "Language & Region"
Tap on "Language & Region"
Tap on the first option, "iPad Language"
In this video, it is set to "English".
In order to change the default iPad language, tap on a different language
Let's make it complicated and tap on "Chinese, Simplified".
Once you choose a language, tap on "Done"
The system will ask you if you wish to change the system language to the specified language.
If you don't want to change the system language, tap on "Cancel"
If you want to change the language, tap on "Continue"
Once you tap on "Continue", the system will indicate that it is restarting. A restart is necessary in order for the language change to be applied.
Wait a few moments for the system to restart
You can tilt the tablet if necessary
