You are watching VisiHow, and today we are going to show you how to add languages to your iPhone 6.
To start off with, what you are going to need to do is press the Home button at the bottom - center of your phone.
This will open up the iPhone lock screen.
Swipe one time across the screen to unlock it.
Now we are looking for a silver box with a series of circular gear shapes in the middle.
This is the Settings icon. Find it and tap it. Tap settings icon - settings will open up.
Now settings has opened up, you can scroll down and you are looking for "General".
Give "General" a single tap.
Once you have tapped on "General" that single time, you are going to scroll down a little bit more and you are looking for "Keyboards" or "Language and Region".
Language and Region is going to allow you to set up the phone language.
You can add other languages which will allow you to set the phone up in Russian, French, Dutch, Chinese and all sorts of languages.
If you would like to change the phone language, you just tap on English
and you select the phone language you want to have.
In this case, I have selected Russian.
Now I am going to select done.
I am going to tell it to change to Russian.
Now it is going to change everything to Russian.
Of course, not knowing Russian, this could be a problem for me. However, I am in luck. I am in luck because I have got VisiHow on my side and what I am going to do on VisiHow is show you how you can fix the language problem no matter what language you chose.
First thing you are going to do, is make sure you are on your Home screen.
If you are not sure if you are on the Home screen or not, press the Home Button. I am sure we are on the Home screen. If I was not, I would have pressed the Home Button and it would have taken me back to the Home Screen.
Now I am going to find the settings icon.
It looks the same no matter what your language is because Hi,! It is a picture! Give it a quick press.
There we go, all this stuff that I only know a few words of it.
I have no idea what it is but I know that I need this settings icon right here. okay? Scrolling down past these icons, past these icons and right to the settings icon. I am going to tap on the settings icon.
Now again, I do not know what I need here but that is okay, I am going to scroll down here okay?
We have got section one - oops - Let us just tap this again, sorry.
We have the first section here.
- My apologies, it is a bit difficult to sit off to the side of the phone with a camera on it and trying to push all these buttons.
As I was saying:
First section, second section, third section, fourth section.
Sixth section, bottom icon.
Bottom of the sixth if you are a baseball player. That is what you want to press. Press it okay?
Now,you just want to press the very first one.
Give it a press.
It is right here. Give "English" a press.
When you are ready, you are going to press the button on the right over here.
It is going to tell you that you can change the language.
Or, at the bottom, you can choose to go back and not do it.
We want the top icon.
Tap it and now, it is settings the language.
So, now you understand how to change the language on your iPhone 6.
No matter what language it is in, as long as you know what the pictures you need to look for are. How they look and where they are. As you can see now, we are back in English.
This concludes our tutorial on changing languages.
Hopefully we have been able to help you and you have had no problems changing your own system language back into something you can understand. Thanks for watching VisiHow, have a great day. Look forward to seeing you in some of our other videos.
