    First of, is the SMTP server which you just need to put in your email address account make sure that you put it like "mehowikis@gmail.com". Do not forget the @ sign plus the domain name.

To check your SMS that has been backup, just go to your email address and there will be a separate folder for your SMS. Use the computer to go to Gmail.Google.com, login, go to Settings, select the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP", and click "Enable IMAP" if it was not enabled. Click "Save Changes".

On your S5, install SMS Backup+ from [1] and launch it.

  • Tap "Connect" to launch the browser and log into Gmail.
  • Tap "Grand access" in Gmail.
  • Now, you can switch back to SMS Backup+.
  • When you see "First backup", tap "Backup".
  • As soon as the process has been finished, you can open Gmail from your computer or phone and click or tap the "SMS" label on the sidebar to see your messages.

The problem is POP3 that you set up in your e-mail account. If your e-mail supports IMAP, you should use it. POP3 will clutter your phone while IMAP will keep all email messages on the server. Each e-mail host offers different settings, so you need to refer to their data to set IMAP up if it is available.

For images, you need to set the SD card as the default storage for Camera. Tap Camera. Tap the cog settings icon. Scroll down to find and tap "Storage location". By default, Camera uses the device memory as the storage location. Tap "Memory card". Now, photographs taken with the camera will be saved to the DCIM folder on the SD card.
