Change the Date and Time on a Samsung Tab 3
Edited by Feels, Alexander Avdeev
Welcome to VisiHow! This will be a tutorial on how to change the date and time on the Samsung Tab 3.
Turn on your device by pressing the lock button.
Swipe to unlock the device.
Tap the little gear icon that says "Settings".
Scroll all the way down until you see "Date and time" under "System".
Tap "Date and time" to select the date, time, time zone, and time and date formats.
Tap "Set date" to change the date.
Choose the date.
You can change it by pressing the arrows above and below the date, or by choosing the day on the calendar. The day will be shown on the calendar too. Since it is May 5th, 2015 today, I'll set to that date.
Tap "Set time" to select the time.
Tap the arrows on the right to select PM or AM.
Tap the arrows above and below minutes and hours to select the time.
Tap your time zone.
Scroll down to find more time zones if yours is not listed on top. My personal time zone is Eastern Time, GMT-4, so it is selected.
Tap "Select date format".
Select the date format.
You can select month/day/year, day/month/year, or year/month/day. Let's select month/day/year.
Tap "Cancel" if your preference has already been selected in the "Select date format" window.
Tap the checkbox next to "Use 24-hour format" to use the 24-hour format.
In this case, 2:31PM will become 14:31 in the 24-hour format.
Thank you for watching this VisiHow tutorial!
