Hello and thank you for watching VisiHow. Today I will show you how to change and reorder icons in the dock section, the bottom of the home screen, on the LG L70.
To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the power button on the top, right-hand side.
Then swipe up once to get to the home screen.
There is a very thin, faint grey line at the bottom of the home screen.
There are four icons below the line. The four icons in this example are "Messaging," "Phone," "Apps," and "Shazam."
Swipe through our home screens to see that those four icons will not change.
It is the docking area.
Press and hold an icon until it lifts then move it for it to change places with another icon.
This is to reorder the icons.
Next, press and hold the icon to lift it and drag it up to "Remove" at the top of the screen.
The word "Remove" becomes a red highlighted trash can icon meaning the icon can be released into the trash.
That icon has been removed from the dock area and the home screen.
We can see that there are now three icons across the dock area.
To add an icon to the dock area it must be located on one of the home screens.
Press and hold the icon on the home screen to lift it, then drag it down to the docking area.
We can see, once again, four icons are in the dock area on each screen.
This concludes today's tutorial on how to change and reorder icons in the dock section, at the bottom of the home screen, on the LG L70.
