Hello, and thank you for watching VisiHow. Today, we will show you how to change an icon for an application on the LG L70.
To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the top right-hand-side power button.
Swipe upwards one time to get to the home screen.
Now we would like to change some of these icons in order to customize our screen's appearance a little bit more.
Identify an icon to change.
Press and hold on the icon until the phone vibrates. When we do this, a small purple circle will appear. It has a paintbrush inside of it. It will be located at the top right-hand corner of the icon that we tap on.
Tap and hold on the icon until the phone vibrates and the purple circle icon appears.
Release the icon. In this demonstration, we will change the "Messaging" icon.
Tap the icon once again.
This opens our icon gallery.
Choose between the smaller and the larger icon by tapping "1x1" or "2x2".
Scroll through the "Icon gallery" to locate a preferable icon to use for this particular application.
Tap on it one time.
Preview the change in appearance at the top of the screen.
Find the altered icon on the home screen to see its new look.
In our demonstration, the icon for the "Messaging" application has been changed.
