Change a Background Color in the ScreenFlow Application

You're watching VisiHow. In another video, we showed how you can change the scale and width of a video clip in ScreenFlow. In this video, we're going to show how you can change the background color instead. Rather than distorting the video clip in the tutorial and making it wider, you can change the color of the background from black to a different color.

    Click the crop icon in the lower-left corner of the workspace

    Then, click the color icon in the pop-up menu that appears at the bottom of the workspace

    This icon is a black box in this video.

    Click different areas on the spectrum circle and bar
    .
    You will get brighter or darker colors in the bar if you click and drag it.

    When you have found your preferred color tone on the spectrum bar, click the exact color you want to use within the large circle

    A preview of the selected color shows up at the bottom-left corner of the window.

    You can also select another color-picking method by clicking the icons at the top of the "Colors" window

    When you have chosen your color, close the window by clicking the red button in the top-left corner

    Finally, click "Apply" in the menu at the bottom of the workspace

    You will see that the background will be changed from black to gray.
