Find the YouTube application, and tap on it once to open the application
The YouTube application icon looks like a red button with a white triangle inside, with "YouTube" written underneath. Your YouTube application may be in a different position in this folder, therefore you will need to find it.
Tap on a specific style to change the subtitles to that style
The selected option here is "White on black" and is indicated by the green circle. We can change it to "Black on white", "Yellow on black", or "Yellow on blue". In this example, we'll choose "Yellow and blue". Now we can see that the background of the subtitles have changed, but it still looks like it has white writing.
