Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to change the temperature scale on the HTC One M8 weather service.
To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button located on top of the phone
Once the phone has been activated we will see the Lock screen
To unlock the phone, press down on the screen and swipe upwards
Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the Home screen
There will be five various icons in a row at the bottom. What we now need to do is find the Settings menu. To do this, we need to swipe down the Notification panel.
To swipe the Notification panel down, start at the top of the screen and swipe downwards
Now we can see that the Notification panel has appeared, we will note the white cog icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen
This is our Settings icon.
Press down on the Settings icon once
This will open up our Settings menu
The word "Settings" will be written in white, at the top left-hand corner of the screen.
Now we will scroll down until we get to the "PERSONAL" section
We can see it says the word "PERSONAL" in a gray bar at the top of this section.
We then want to tap on the option labeled "Accounts & sync"
Next to these words there is the Accounts & sync icon, which features a grey circle surrounded by two arrows forming another circle.
This will take us into the "Accounts & sync" menu
The words "Accounts & sync" will be written in white in the top left-hand corner.
Now we are going to tap the option labeled "HTC Weather Service"
There will be a yellow sun surrounded by some clouds to the left of this option.
Now we will have our HTC Weather Service options
The word "HTC Weather Service" will be written in white in the top left-hand corner.
Next we are going to tap on "General settings"
We will now be brought to another menu titled "General settings", the first option being "Temperature scale"
If we press down on "Temperature scale", we are going to be able to choose between "Celsius" and "Fahrenheit"
This is very useful if we are living in a country that uses a particular scale and we want to change our phone to represent that.
Press down on the option that we want, for example if we want to change to "Fahrenheit" we will press down on it one time
Now we can see that the temperature scale has been changed at the top to show the word "Fahrenheit" instead of Celsius
Press down on "Temperature scale" again, and we can see that the circle beside the "Fahrenheit" option has been filled in with a blue dot
If we want to change it back, simply press down on the other option labeled "Celsius"
We can see the Temperature scale option now has the word "Celsius" underneath of it
This then concludes our tutorial on how to change the temperature scale on the HTC One M8 weather service
