Hi! You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to change the screen orientation in the My Boy Gameboy emulator on the Huawei G700.
We start off by unlocking the phone.
To unlock it, we need to press the Lock button on the right-hand side of the phone.
We swipe the screen down.
Once the screen is unlocked, we need to open the emulator.
In this demonstration, the emulator is placed in the "Emulators" folder, so it is tapped.
We tap the My Boy icon.
Once the emulator is open, we need to go to "Settings".
To go to "Settings", we need to tap the wrench icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Now, we need to tap "Video".
To change the screen orientation, we have to tap "Screen orientation".
Then, we can choose from several different options. Those are "Auto rotate", "Landscape", "Reverse landscape", "Portrait", and "System default".
If we choose "Auto rotate", then we'll be in the portrait mode if the phone is upright and in the landscape mode if the phone is flipped by 90 degrees.
The difference between "Landscape" and "Reverse Landscape" is that if we choose "Landscape", then the left side of the screen will be the bottom of the game.
If we choose "Reverse Landscape", then the right side of the screen will be the bottom.
The "Portrait" mode is self-explanatory.
The phone is in the portrait mode right now.
We should choose "System default" for the emulator to use the system settings.
This is useful if we are not using the phone, and we use a tablet instead. For example, most of the default orientations on tablets are set to the landscape mode. On the phones, it is the portrait mode. We should choose the one according to our preferences and tap it.
For example, we are going to keep it at "Auto rotate" by tapping "Auto rotate".
Once it is set, we need to go back.
To go back, we need to tap the Back button in the lower-left corner of the phone.
We have to tap the Back button several times until we are back to the main menu.
This concludes our tutorial on how to change the screen orientation in the My Boy Gameboy emulator on the Huawei G700. Thank you for watching VisiHow! If you have any other comments or questions, please leave them in the comment section below.
