    Firstly, press the power button to turn the phone on.
    This button is located on the right hand side of the phone.

    This will bring you to the lock screen.
    Just swipe up to get to the home screen.

    Then swipe from up to down to bring up the notifications panel.

    From system settings, swipe left to go to applications settings.

    Next, we are going to swipe down to the bottom and as you can see, we have "SIM 1 settings".
    If you have a dual SIM activated, and you have two SIM cards in your Microsoft Lumia 535, then you are able to change the individual PIN numbers for both of them. You can also assign the same PIN number to each SIM card if it makes it easy for you to remember but, you will have to do that separately for each SIM card.

    Since we only have one SIM card installed on this device, we are going to select the "SIM 1 settings" option so give that a press.

    On this screen, we have the SIM security option - it is the second last option - which we need to turn on.
    We must turn it on in order to change our PIN. Just swipe the switch to the right to turn it on.

    Once you do that, a new box will appear asking you to enter your current SIM PIN.
    You can find your SIM PIN on the plastic card that came with your SIM card. On the card, you will find a selection of PIN numbers, a PUK code and the phone number for that SIM card. You will need that number right now so if you do not have it right now, you can find it and then continue watching this video. I am going to enter the code for this PIN then press enter.

    "SIM PIN enabled" will be displayed on the screen.

    Just press it to change the PIN.

    Before we change our PIN, we have to enter our current PIN and press enter.

    Once that is done, you can enter the new SIM PIN and press enter to set it.
