Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to change the font size on the HTC One M8.
Press the Power button on the top of the phone to turn the screen on and display the lock screen.
Tap and hold the screen until the unlock icon appears, then swipe up to unlock the screen and display the Home screen.
Swipe down from the top of the screen to display the Notifications Panel.
Tap the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen to open the Settings menu.
Scroll down to the "PHONE" section of the settings and tap "Display and gestures" to view the settings related to the display and gestures.
The "Display and gestures" icon is an image of a phone.
Tap "Font size" to view the font size options.
The current font size is displayed beneath "Font size". In this example, the current font size is "Medium".
The list of available font sizes will be displayed.
The current font size has a green circle next to it. We have the option to choose from a range from "Small" font size to "Huge". This is useful as it allows us to change the font size to a preferable size, based on our eyesight.
Tap a size to change the phone's font size.
In this example, we will choose "Huge". Some font sizes, such as "Huge", are only available on HTC apps. Other apps will use the closest size. In this example, that would be "Extra large". In these cases, there will be a notification to let us know this is the case. Tap "OK" to acknowledge the notification.
The phone's font size will now be changed to the new size, and the new size will be displayed under "Font size" in the Display and gestures settings.
For this example, we will change the font size back to "Medium".
This concludes the tutorial on how to change the font size on the HTC One M8.
