Clean the Spit Valve on a Trombone

You're watching VisiHow. This is a video tutorial on how to empty condensation from the spit valve on the trombone.

Steps

  1. 1
The trombone, as you know, is a brass instrument, which requires warm air to move through it
    .
Warm air builds up and creates condensation, or spit, that needs to be released. The end of the slide on the trombone has a spit valve. The spit valve allows all of the condensation to be released from the trombone when pressing down on the valve.
