I have a SAMSUNG-SM-J320V with an SD card installed. My PC laptop cannot "see" photos on the cell phone?

There are many photos on that I can see in Gallery on the phone, and on the SD card, and in the Astro File Manager directory. When I connect the cell phone to my PC laptop to transfer photos form cell phone to laptop, the laptop file manager indicates that there are no files on the Samsung.

After upgrading to Android 6.0 this weekend, software g900vvru2dpd1, I can no longer access files on my phone from any computer?

Since the upgrade on the weekend, I no longer can access the internal memory or the SD card from my computer (tried two others as well). Strange thing is the phone is recognized by the computer, but I cannot drill down to the internal memory and SD card level.. I have tried: Restarting computer, restarting phone, have not tried a different cable.. I think it was caused by: Thinking it may have been the major software/firmware upgrade that was done this past weekend.
