Samsung Galaxy PC running windows 7?

On my office PC (identical twins) I can get my photos transferred to my PC, on my home PC the phone doesn't give me the option of file transfer, only charging. I must be missing a setting somewhere.

Downloaded Kies 3 to computer and tried to hook up Galaxy S5?

After downloading Kies 3 to my laptop, I followed the instructions and hooked up my Galaxy S5 via a USB port. The screen showed the message, "Connecting" and then this message showed up: "The connected device is locked. Please enter a password on the connected device". The Galaxy S5 was upgraded to Marshmallow awhile ago (BIG mistake), and we are with Verizon.

Voice and call recordings transfer from Galaxy 5 to laptop?

I am not able to "see" the voice and call recordings on the laptop after I connect the phone. Also, I use ColorNote Notepad Notes app which is a simple way for me to organize information or lists. How do I transfer or make a copy of those files on the laptop? What about creating a back-up for all the text messages? Thank you in advance. I appreciate your time. I have tried: Connected the phone to computer.

I can't transfer files (photos) from my Samsung Galaxy S5 to my Surface Pro 3?

It shows on the sp3 that there are no files. BUT there are actually gobs of files that need transfer so I can make updates on my phone. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you! I want to store photos on my computer, not in a cloud app. I have tried: Restart phone, restart computer, read different articles. I think it was caused by: No idea. I haven't had the sp3 very long, and have yet to accomplish the file transfers. I don't understand why it says "no Files".
