Unfortunately, the Galaxy tab 3 7 inch variation of the Tablet does not have HDMI out features built in. Samsung offers a MHL to HDMI adapter but that is only available on their 8 and 10 inch Tablet versions.

How do I get the Tab 2 to work on the TV using HDMI cord?

When I hook my Galaxy Tab 2 to my Samsung TV using an HDMI cord the TV keeps saying that the source is not connected, but when I put the HDMI in the DVD player it works perfectly fine. I tried to push the source button but nothing happens, what am I doing wrong because I know the cord works
