Can hair loss start up again after it has stopped?

I had Mitomycin and 5FU and lost 50% of my hair. Oddly, my long hair became so matted and knotted one night that trying to comb it out was responsible for considerable hair loss as well. I had it cut to my shoulders as well.. . My chemo stopped four weeks ago. I had started to see some new hair growth here and there and was optimistic. However, now, all of the sudden, I am shedding my longer hair again. I'm just not sure what to expect. I have to return to teaching soon and I am trying to figure out what my "look" will be when I meet my students for the first time. Should I invest in some of these products? My hair is naturally thin to begin with and I have a rather large and unattractive forehead which definitely needs bangs. The hair I am losing however seems to be coming from the middle part from front to back. I just don't know what to do.
