Tonic Water can be found in the beverage section of grocery stores. It glows in the dark when you shine a black light on it. An alternative is to snap a glow stick and wrap it around your glass like a bracelet. As long as the glow liquid is contained in the plastic, it is safe to drink the contents of the glass. With this method, you would not need a black light.

You take the tonic water and put it in a glass. A yellow highlighter works best for this project. Remove the felt inside tube of the marker and soak it in the tonic water. You will have glow water but remember that this method is not edible. Tonic water glows by itself with a black light.
