Can't access my USB flash drive?

If I go start, my computer then under the F:\drive I only see a padlock symbol laxer (F:). If I right click on it I can see there is a date but I can't access it. There are important info that I need to access on my USB flash drive. Can you please help me?. I have tried: I tried what you guys recommend on the web site by un-hide the files but that didn't work. I think it was caused by: I plugged my USB stick into our church computer and after that I saw that all my folders were displayed as shortcuts. I then plugged it into my computer and now I see the drive shows a padlock and I cannot access the folders
