You are watching VisiHow. In this video, I am going to show you how you can browse your groups and discussions on the LinkedIn application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, we need to unlock our phone by pressing either the lock button at the side or the home button at the bottom.
Swipe right and enter the passcode or use the fingerprint scanner to unlock the phone.
Find the LinkedIn icon which is this blue one and tap once to open it up.
It will automatically take us to our home page which will suggest our jobs, different articles and also connections and what they have posted.
Go to the top left-hand corner and tap the LinkedIn icon to bring up a new menu.
Go down and tap "Groups" which is somewhere in the middle.
Now, we have our groups listed at the top.
The top discussions within the groups are underneath.
We can then go to our groups by tapping on the bar.
This will bring up a list of groups and we can select one if we want to view discussions only for that group.
In this case, we have "King's college London" and we can see popular discussions.
These will be the discussions with the highest amount of conversations.
We can see that there are different articles, online course information and more.
Press the back arrow to go back.
We can go down here to other groups or we can press "Join new groups" on the blue bar.
Again, these will be recommended depending on groups that we are already a part of, what our job involves, and possibly education.
Any themes that we have selected will affect it as well.
We can scroll up or down and if we are interested, we can just tap the plus on the right-hand side of the group to join it.
We can also tap on the group name and it may say that it is a members only group so we can tap "Join" or "Cancel".
If it is a members only group, it will be indicated by the padlock under the group title.
If a group is not a members only group, we can load up more information about it by tapping on the name.
We are not a part of this group, but we still have the option to view the "Popular Discussions" and the ability to join the group at the top.
Go back by pressing the arrow until we are in the "Top discussions" section.
We can press the LinkedIn icon in the corner.
This takes us back to the page where we began.
This is a VisiHow video and I have just shown you how you can browse and add different groups on the LinkedIn application on an iPhone 6.
If you have any questions or comments, pop them into the comment section below and we will do our best to get back to you.
