I am at a school where we are using all the laptops in the school - about 120...for testing today. This particular one - Dell Latitude ES430 won't boot up. Black screen of death when turned on. The light shows the power is on, but no screen. Have tried rebooting, resetting the battery, hitting F8 repeatedly, can't get to Ctrl Alt Del. Thoughts?

Thoughts, please see above for what I've tried and need other ideas.

How can I solve the BSOD in my Windows 7 PC?

Hello, my PC works fairly well for being a little old, boots fast and I can work in it without too much problems. Recently, when I start Windows 7, a black screen appears with cursor, for about 15-20 seconds, then the PC starts. Is not a thing that is killing my PC, but is annoying and my family complains, I find it annoying too, when it should boot in 35 seconds, it does it in 45-50 seconds, then lags a bit when the OS is booted, then it goes back to normal, but I want to know how to solve this. Thank you.
