Take note

  • Emergency mode is not a substitute for calling the police or the local emergency numbers.
  • This mode will only serve as an additional protection and assistance.
  • This mode requires you enough credits to send an SMS or use the GPS functions of your phone.
  • This mode is network dependent and may not work if you are on a location with no signal.
  • Make sure that you already briefed your emergency contacts on the next steps to follow whenever they receive an emergency message from you.

Please note that these people will also have the ability to remotely unlock your device, or take other steps that you might not otherwise want them doing for privacy reasons, so make sure Emergency Mode is only used for real emergencies.

This is exactly the sort of scenario that Emergency mode was designed to be used for. It will not replace his ability to make an emergency call, but in the absence of him being able to do that, he can use emergency mode to notify you and two other persons. Each of you will then have the ability to respond and or answer, and take action.
