    To make an archive, select the files that you need to compress and right-click on them.

    Tick "Encrypt file names" if you want to hide the contents of the archive until the password is entered.
    If you do not tick this, then the file list of the archive will be visible; however, you will not be able to access the files themselves without entering the password.
