Anti-lock brake system, if that's turned on would it make my car un-towable?

I'm currently going through some car repo problems and I've been told that if I put my anti-lock brakes on when I exit my vehicle that it would make the car untowable. Is that true?

Unfortunately, putting your anti-lock brakes on before you leave your car will not make it un-towable. The best thing you can do in this unfortunate circumstance is to follow the in-depth VisiHow guide below to learn about the techniques you can use to make your car more difficult to tow.

Am I doing a good job preventing my car from being repo'ed?

The finance company is putting my car into repo status tomorrow. I will not have the payment for another 10 days. I am looking for ways to make my car difficult to tow since I can not put it in a locked garage. So far I have covered the VIN on the windshield. I know there are other spots to read the VIN but they require entering the vehicle and on the first run they shouldn't have a key. At night I remove the plate so they can not verify the VIN or plate. It is front wheel drive so I park with the front wheels up my driveway so they have to grab it from the back. I cut the wheels so if they attempt to pull it the car will steer into the building and tomorrow when I get paid I am buying a club so if they do get a key they can not easily drive off without breaking the club. Anything else I can do for the next 10 days?

What documents the Repo man must have with him?

The Repo man visited me - he entered the private land to take vin number, then blocked the driveway. I went out and asked him to come in for a conversation, then he showed me a form from his company Anglia and said I will have to sign it, but he said he won't sign it when I asked. I don't know what to do with my V5 as well. He wants it but I am afraid of what might happen next. I have tried: I contacted creditors, but I only received a letter from 2 out of more than 10. I am still working I am still collecting balances from abroad .. I think it was caused by: One of my creditors put me into financial difficulties and I want to declare bankruptcy. It is hard. I got bankruptcy forms but it will still take me time to deal with it.

Is there a law stating the repo man has to accept the full payment?

I woke to my car being towed from repo man. I had the money in bank. I ran outside and told him I was calling my finance company to make through payment or give him the payment. As I was inside calling he left with the car

Do I get my car back after the repo man breach the contract?

My car was repo'd yesterday while I was in it and he took me from one location to another and my daughter called the police when we made it to a second location, and when the police arrived they forced me to get out of my car while I was still hooked up to the towed truck up in the air and I kept telling the police I was already in the car and the repo man tried to pull me out of the car but couldn't, that is when he drove off with me in it, but the police took the repo man aside after he told the police I ran and jumped in the car while it was being towed and the police threatened to make me get out my car! I'm have a big bruise on my leg and my upper right shoulder.
