Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this tutorial, we are going to show you how to allow or block notifications using the Google Chrome application on the HTC One M8.
- 4Find the Google Chrome application, and tap on it once to open the application. The Google Chrome icon looks like a big circle made up of different colors and has the word "Chrome" underneath it. Your Google Chrome application may be in a different position in this folder, therefore you will need to find it.
- 9Tap on the bubble to the right of "Notifications" to enable or disable the option. This is the recommended option, and it is indicated as activated by the circle icon being colored blue. With the option activated, if a site wants to send us a notification it will have to ask us if we want to receive it or ask if they can send us the notification. When the option is enabled, the blue button will turn grey and it will say "Blocked" underneath "Notifications". This means all notifications will be blocked and any site trying to send us a notification won't be allowed and will be blocked from contacting us or notifying us.
