    To begin, open up the game you would like to play.
    For this tutorial, I am going to use "Pokemon".

    You will notice at the top of the window, the speed of the system is indicated in the system tray as a percentage.
    In this case, it is around "99%".

    To change the speed display, click on "Options" in the menu at the top of this window.

    In the drop down menu, go to "Emulator".

    Then, go to "Show speed" in the expanded menu.

    You will see a few options under "Show speed".
    These options are "None", "Percentage", "Detailed", and "Transparent".

    If you choose "None", the percentage in the system tray will disappear.

    If you click "Percentage", the percentage will appear as before.
    If you click "Detailed", you will be able to see all of the information. After clicking "Detailed", you will see the percentage as well as the frames per second ratio. For "Transparency", if you are using full-screen mode, the data will be displayed on the lower left corner of the screen. If you use transparency, the data will be red and go through the entire screen. If you untick transparency, the data will cover up the lower left corner of the screen. Adjust this setting according to your preference.
