The words "shutter speed" will appear on the screen along with semicircle or arc at the bottom of the screen where the shutter speed can be adjusted
    .
Adjusting to a slower shutter speed will provide more time for light to enter the camera. Having a lower shutter speed helps with taking photos of light trails, such as when photographing traffic. However, when using a low shutter speed a tripod is often necessary to keep the camera very still. Any movement will affect the quality of the photo. Since the camera shutter is open for a longer period of time, any movement would distort the image.

Placing the small circle on top of the word "auto" over on the left side of the arc will allow the shutter speed to adjust automatically
    .
We will demonstrate the difference between a faster and a slower shutter speed. The slower the shutter speed, the more time light enters. This is how light trails are captured.
