Right here, it says the word "Shortcuts". We may see different words because we may be in different menus. It could say, "Widgets", "Apps", or "Shortcuts". Press down on the word. It will bring up a menu.
We can find some different variations and styles of the time and date widget. Here we are. There are a variety of clock types and sizes. Be sure to look at the size in each of the different widgets. It says this weather clock is '4x2' Which is quite big. It takes up a lot of space. Widgets that are '1x1' are very small. Choose one that is right for you. We are going to add it to the panel we've highlighted, by pressing down on the widget. Press down on it.
On the right, at the top, is the word "REMOVE" in white writing, with a white trash can next to the word. If we drag the widget up to the "REMOVE" area, it will turn red. Just by touching it with the icon, it turns red. When it's red, it means it's ready to be removed. Just let it go, and it will be totally removed. Let it go.
On the panel we were working on, the date and time have been removed
We can repeat this process for other time and date widgets. Just add them to the panel, and remove them from the panel. Hold down until we feel the vibration, then move up to the word "REMOVE" until it turns red.
This then concludes our tutorial on how to add and remove the time and date from a panel or home screen of an HTC One M8
