Edited by Grimm, VisiHow, Eng, Anonymous
You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial we're going to show you how to add and remove the SIM card from your Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
For this, you will need a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, a SIM card, and a SIM card removal tool.
The tool should come with all of the new Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge phone.
What we will do is access the SIM card slot which is on the top left hand side of the phone.
You will notice there are two holes on the phone.
One is slightly larger with an indentation around it. It is the SIM-card tray.
Take your SIM card removal tool and place it into the hole.
Hold the phone steady and apply gentle pressure onto the removal tool.
This will make the SIM-card tray pop out.
Gently pull the tray out.
Be careful, as the SIM card itself is made of plastic. You will see where it reads, "SIM", on the front.
We flip the tray over.
There is nothing written on the back.
We flip the SIM-card where the word "SIM" is.
We put the SIM card directly into the tray.
The notch on the SIM-card should match the shape of the tray.
Then, lift your phone to place the tray back inside the phone.
This should take very little pressure, but you may need to wiggle the tray slightly before you push it in with the thumb. You've have now learned to install a SIM card on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
To remove the SIM card, you follow the same process.
You take the tool and push it in. This will cause the tray to pop out.
Then, pull the tray out.
We will have the SIM card out.
