If we don't want it to be on the home screen, we can drag it over to another panel
    .
If there are no other panels, we can create one just by moving the icon over to the plus sign that says "PANEL" under it.

Once we've found a location to leave the icon at, we can move it there and let go
    .
The icon will be moved to the screen. Even though we only had the home screen before, we have created two new panels.

To remove an application, we will need to press and hold it again like we would when moving it, then drag it to "REMOVE" in white lettering at the top next to a white trash can
    .
"REMOVE" and the trash can will then be highlighted in red, which means that the application is in the right place for us to remove it. Let go of it and the application will be removed from the panel, but not the phone. We can repeat this process with any application.
