You're watching VisiHow. In this tutorial, we're going to show you how to add a framing grid to the camera on your iPhone 6.
The first thing we're going to need to do, is press the Home button of our phone.
This will open the Lock screen.
From the Lock screen, we'll swipe across.
Enter our pin or passcode, or we can just use a thumb or fingerprint on the Touch ID sensor.
This will take us into the Home screen.
Once in the Home screen, we're looking for the "Settings" icon, which is a silver-gray box with a series of gears in it.
It's also labeled "Settings".
When we find the "Settings" icon, we need to press it one time.
After we've pressed the icon, we'll be on the main panel, which is labeled "Settings". This is where we can access all of the different options for our device.
The option we're looking for is "Photos & Camera", which has a little flower off to the side.
Once that is found, give it a single tap.
This will open up the "Photos & Camera" panel.
Scrolling down, we'll see the option under "CAMERA" for "Grid".
We can see to the right of "Grid", the switch is off.
A single press on the switch will add a framing grid to our camera.
In order to confirm that we actually have a framing grid, we'll go ahead and press the Home button one time.
Then we'll press the "Camera" button up at the top.
We can see now that there is a grid.
If we put our hand behind the camera, it makes this grid much easier to see.
In order to double check that, we can simply double press the Home button.
Then, tap back on our panel.
Once again, tap the Camera icon in the lower right corner.
Now we'll see that there is no framing grid.
Just double press the Home button and tap again on the "Photos & Camera" panel.
Simply press one more time to turn the framing grid on.
Swipe back up, to double-check with the Camera.
As we discussed, the framing grid has now been turned on and enabled for our iPhone 6.
This concludes our tutorial on adding a framing grid to the iPhone 6 camera.
