Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, I am going to show you how to add a Facebook group icon to your home screen using the Groups application on an iPhone 6.
To begin, unlock the phone by pressing and holding on the home button if we are using the fingerprint lock.
We are now looking for the Groups application.
The icon for it looks like a white square with three white people inside of it.
It took us to the main page with all the groups that we are a member of.
To add a Facebook group to our home screen, we need to pick a group and tap on it first.
We will pick the "MyBook shopping" group.
Once the group page is open, we need to press the icon with the three gray dots located on the right side of the bottom menu bar.
In the bottom area of this menu, there is the option to "Add to Home Screen" and that is what we need to press.
We were taken to this Safari page and now, we need to press the button located right above the home screen button.
The icon looks like a square with an arrow coming out of it.
There is a button with a black square and a plus sign inside of it so let us press down on it.
We need to put the name of the group name.
We can edit the name or leave it the way it is. We can edit the name by using the keyboard.
Once we are happy with the name we have set, we can press "Add".
The "Add" button is located on the top right-hand corner of the screen.
As we can see, we have the brand new icon here which is the icon for the Facebook group so let us give it a single press.
It has taken us to the group page directly from the home screen.
This concludes our tutorial on how to add a Facebook group icon to your home screen using the groups application on an iPhone 6.
