Hi! You're watching VisiHow, and this is a tutorial on how to add Chrome bookmarks to the Windows 8 start menu.
The first thing that we need to do is open the Google Chrome browser.
When it opens, we need to copy the bookmark by right-clicking it and then selecting "Copy".
So now we have the address copied.
We can close it now. We need to click on an empty space on the desktop. Right-click there, and then select "New" and "Shortcut".
Now we need to click "Browse" to locate the Google Chrome web browser.
In this case, it's in the directory "This PC".
Then click on "Local Disk C".
Bear in mind that if you have a 32- or 64-bit operating system, then it will be in "Program Files".
If you have a 64-bit system, it's going to be in "Program Files (x86)".
So, click on the correct folder and then click the Google folder.
Then click on "Application".
You will see the "Chrome.exe" file, so choose it and then click OK.
After the name, press space and then paste what we've just copied.
Now name it, for example, "VisiHow", and then click finish.
Once this is done, you will see the icon on the desktop.
Now we need to right-click the icon and click "Pin to Start".
Go to the start menu by clicking the lower left corner of the screen.
We will see that the VisiHow icon has appeared here.
If we click the icon, it will take us to the VisiHow page.
This concludes our tutorial on how to add Chrome bookmarks to the Windows 8 start menu. Thank you for watching VisiHow! If you have any other comments or questions, please leave them in the comments section below.
