Steps

    The first thing that you need to do is access the Control Panel

    To do this, click on the Start menu at the bottom left corner of the screen.

    Then go to Control Panel

    Now that the Control Panel window has opened, you need to go to Programs

    From this window, select Desktop Gadgets

    If you have any other gadgets besides the default ones, then they will be shown here. For example, if you want a calendar, just click and drag the Calendar anywhere onto the desktop. From now on the calendar will be visible.
