Add Feelings to a Facebook Status or Post on HTC One M8
Edited by Thor, Crystal, Eng
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to add feelings to a post or status in Facebook on an HTC One M8.
To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone.
Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.
To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up.
Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.
We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen.
There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.
Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Facebook application.
There is a Facebook icon, which is a blue background with a white "f" inside, and underneath it says the word "Facebook". We want to demonstrate how to add feelings to a status or post.
Press down on the option at the top that says "What's on your mind?".
This will allow us to start a post.
Tap on the gray smiley face.
Tap on "Feeling" at the top.
Tap on a feeling.
It comes with an emoticon as well, so it's a way of highlighting how we feel, rather than typing in "I feel like..." This is more of a fun way to do it. We're going to press down on "lovely". It will then bring us back to our post, where it says "Feeling lovely" with an emoticon.
If we're happy with this feeling, we can press down on "Post" in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
We can see it says "Tom Thumb is feeling lovely".
We can do this with all of our feelings, any time we're feeling up or down, happy or sad, good or bad, we can choose a feeling that suits our current mood, and share that with all of our friends.
This concludes the tutorial on how to add feelings to a post or status in Facebook on an HTC One M8.
