Add Calendar Tasks to Your Microsoft Lumia 535
Edited by Thor, Colette Cole, Eng
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we're going to show you how to add a task to the calendar when using a Microsoft Lumia 535. First, we're going to need to turn the phone on. To do this, I'm going to press the power button on the side of the phone.
Now that the phone has been activated, I'm going to swipe from bottom to top.
If, like me, as the factory settings have allowed, we have the calendar on the home screen.
You can, of course, remove the calendar and so some of you may not have it if you have chosen to do this.
Just by pressing the calendar tile, I can activate the calendar app.
Now you can see we have the calendar:
the dates and the months. The three lines, dots, or ellipsis, depending on what you may call it, is the menu.
We are going to press on that and now we have tasks.
Just by pressing the tasks button, we can see there are no tasks currently attached but we can press the "+" to add a task.
We can have a subject, for example, we can say "Walk the dog".
This is a very important task!
So we then can accept that and save it by pressing the icon with the picture of the computer disk.
Now you see the details displayed.
Now we are going to edit it by pressing the edit button.
We need a reminder.
Do we want a reminder? So we will choose to turn it on because everyone forgets to walk the dog.
What day do we want it?
Do we want a reminder on the 20th of he 4th month, 2015?
Do we want it at 2:00 a.m?
No dog wants to be walked at 2:00 a.m. I can't imagine so let's choose 8:00 a.m since that's a good time to walk the dog.
Now we're gong to press the check mark at the bottom to confirm that.
We have the date and we have the time, so it's going to leave a nice loud noise to remind you that it's going to be time to walk the dog.
You can add a due date as well, but I don't think the dog is due is anywhere soon. We're going to click the save icon, which is the on that resembles a computer disk at the bottom of the screen.
Now you see the task has been accepted by the phone and it has been implanted in.
We can press the "+" sign to add new ones or we can press or we can press the expansion icon beside it to select it.
From there, because there is only one, we can choose to edit it or delete it by using the icons at the bottom of the screen.
We don't want to do any of that because were satisfied so we'll deselect that.
So we will deselect our tasks. The way the screen appears no just means now that we have the option to add a new one or to select multiple tasks if they exist.
It has been implanted into the calendar.
Now We press on it.
The task is in a different section, but we can see the task has been attached and is ready and waiting to alert us to the dog's need to walk.
This concludes our tutorial on how to add a task to the calendar when using a Microsoft Lumia 535.
