Try one of the following:

  • if you are using a custom launcher, then you will need to configure it to unlock the application icons;
  • if you are using a stock launcher, then press the home button. Tap on "Apps". Tap on "Settings". Tap on "Applications". Tap on "Application Manager". Swipe the screen to "All". Tap on Launcher. Tap on "Clear data". Recreate your home screens;
  • sometimes, you can just press the menu button when you are on the locked desktop, select "More" or three dots, and tap on "Unlock desktop";
  • turn off your phone. Take out the battery for a minute. Reinsert it and turn on your phone;
  • hard-reset your phone as shown in this tutorial.

I believe my phone must have updated or my daughter moved stuff when she was using it. I usually keep Facebook at the bottom for quick access. It's gone from there but it isn't on my apps pages either. I have to Google Facebook each time I want it to open. It is in my recently removed place but it will not put it back?

If I hold it down, it will move but not back to my apps page like other stuff. How do I get the shortcut back?

How do I get my S voice back? I deleted it from my home screen?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note5 phone. I deleted S voice from my home screen and now it is also not in the apps screen. When I go to apps, then apps manager, then all apps, I see it but I do not know how to move it back into apps.. I have tried: I have tried to hold down my finger on the all applications page but nothing happens. Also, I looked at it and there is nothing that says reinstall.. I think it was caused by: I held my finger down on the application on my home screen and moved it to the "remove" waste basket.
