Actually I have a Korean version of Samsung Galaxy S3, but I am now in the US and I can't receive SMS?

I have updated the message center number settings after doing a master reset, but I still can't send out SMS. I can only receive them.

The Korean version of the Samsung Galaxy S3 functions very similarly to the Korean Samsung Galaxy S2 in regards to its SMS messaging. If you've tried to change the message center number settings and you're still having issues, you can use one of the alternate SMS applications detailed in the guide below.

Hi! I have a Galaxy M130K Korean version, I have a problem with sending SMS it says "your SMS has invalid sender", how do I resolve this problem?

Hi! I have a Galaxy M130K Korean version, I have a problem with sending SMS it says "your SMS has invalid sender". How do I resolve this problem

  • You might have typed the wrong number by not adding a plus sign or adding or missing one digit.
  • Find an old smartphone (Nokia, Sony Ericsson, or iPhone 3G). Insert your SIM card into that smartphone and, in the contact settings, find how to edit your number. Do so by placing your number. (somewhere in "Settings" > "Phone settings" > "My phone number" > "Save") Reinsert the SIM card into your M130K to fix the problem.
  • Press the home button. tap on the SMS application (Messaging) > "Compose message" > the menu button > "Change sender". Put your number in the "From:" field and the number of your recipient into the "To:" field.
  • Install Go SMS Pro or Handcent Next SMS to use as the default SMS messaging application.
  • You can reflash your device using the M130K firmware available at this Web site (it is all in Korean, so you might need to translate the page with https://translate.google.com). Then, follow the steps starting from step 2 in our tutorial on how to unroot Samsung smartphones by flashing new firmware.
