Access Skype Account Profile Settings on iPhone 6

Hi. You're watching VisiHow, and today I'm going to show you how to access your account profile settings on the Skype application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, we can unlock our phone.
Press the Lock button on the right-hand side of the handset, or the big round button at the bottom of the screen called the Home button.
Once the lock screen is up, simply swipe and enter a passcode.
Alternatively, just hold your finger on the Home button, which doubles as a fingerprint scanner.
This takes us to the Home screen, which will look a bit different from this one, because it's personalized.
In this case, we need to find our Skype icon.
The icon itself is light blue with a blue "S" inside a white bubble in the center.
Just tap that to open Skype.
It may take us to the sign in screen, which is referred to in another video.
It may also take us to a screen that lists all of the recent contacts.
What we need to do is go to the top right-hand corner, where we have our profile picture.
Tap that to open up the new menu.
What we should do now is go down to these few options, looking for "My account" with a little man on the left-hand side in blue.
Press that to open up our account.
This may take some time to load because they have quite a lot of things to offer.
For now, tap to open the top option, "Profile", which is in blue.
Once at the Profile details, we can go ahead and edit what we like.
It automatically tells us how complete the Profile is. This one is only 70% because not every single box is filled in.
Just scroll down and tap here in the "About" section to enter your name.
Tap here again on the second box.
We can just simply delete accordingly.
Next, we can type whatever surname we choose.
Press "Done", in the blue here on the top right side of the gray window.
Alternatively, we can press "Go", in the blue here.
This shows our profile has been updated and it automatically saves.
We can select "Gender" by tapping the drop down menu and scrolling.
Select "Birthday" by scrolling.
We can either press "Clear" on the right-hand side, or "Done".
Done will obviously save.
We can press "English" in order to choose a different language to talk in or for Skype to recognize.
Since we only need English, we will choose that.
We can tap here, in the "About me" section and just write a little bit about ourselves.
Again, when you're happy, press "Done".
In "Location", we can press on the box and type the name of city.
We'll just say Oxford by typing it in on the keypad.
State can be clicked.
That's because it's an American piece of software, so it says "State" instead. We can type what we like, accordingly.
Choose the Country/Region, whichever one we like, in this scroll menu.
We've selected "United Kingdom".
Enter an Email address, or change an Email address accordingly.
There are additional options for adding another "Email address", "Mobile phone", "Home phone" or an "Office phone number".
We can just click any of these and start typing, as seen here.
Just tap the box for an item and it brings up the keypad.
What we can do here in the "About" section when we scroll to the top of the screen is tap where it says "Public".
Scroll down to see what everyone else will see when "Location" is also "Public".
This is why these options aren't actually compulsory because they don't have to be filled in, if not wanted.
Whereas for "Contact" details, it says on the right-hand side, "Contacts only" with a little picture of the contacts book again.
This way only our Contacts can see our Email address and phone numbers.
When satisfied with all of that, just go to the blue bar that says "Save changes".
It saves all of the changes made, if any.
When it's finished loading there is a green bar at the top saying our Profile has been updated.
It will have a green tick or check on the left-hand side.
Just tap the blue arrow, here on the top left-hand side to go to the previous screen.
On this screen, press the white arrow to get back to the Home screen.
Thank you very much for watching.
