Can you tell me about Factory Reset on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3?

I am trying to reset my Tablet using the Hard Reset method, but when I try to scroll the Factory Reset button, the cursor won't stop there. Can you please help me? Thank you.

There is a known bug in the Samsung operating system for the Galaxy Tab 3, where it will not stop on the actual item, and instead highlights every other item in the list. For example, in the scenario you have described, your cursor will start on the first list item (number one) of the Android System Recovery menu, but then when you scroll down, it will automatically highlight the third option, completely skipping the second option. Since you are not able to select the Factory Reset option, you can't perform a Factory Reset of your Samsung Tab.

To work around this, you need to first confirm that there is no problem with the button you are using to scroll down with. You can do this by trying to scroll up. If scrolling up does the same thing, then there is no problem with your button. In this case, scroll all the way back to the top of the menu.

After you are back at the top of the menu, quickly press down once, and then repeat the process of quickly pressing down once, pausing after each press, until you have pressed down the correct number of times to select the Factory Reset option. Even if the Factory Reset option is not highlighted, go ahead and select. You should now be taken to the next reset menu option, where it will inform you that a factory data reset will wipe all data, and give you the option to select 'Yes' or 'No' to proceed (note that this may change in Android versions, but it is still the same function).

Now you can Factory Reset your Samsung Galaxy when the scroll menu is not working.

How do you block GPS locations on Samsung S4?

I used to be able to locate my son's phone location, but now it's not giving me accurate locations.

Inaccurate locations are often the result of a bad signal. However, they can also be caused by the satellite and network settings being turned off. As you've also asked about tracking your son, we've included all options for accessing GPS settings. Additionally, you can search VisiHow for information on the MySpy (mSpy) application to receive additional details on tracking options for monitoring your son's location.
