Go to Samsung's Find My Mobile Lock and click the drop down menu under Lock Device. You can then turn the lock on or off remotely. You can also change the pin to pattern or vice versa. If you use your Google Account once you click Forgot Password as an option, then you can go in and change the pin also. You may have to clear the credentials under Security first or swap it to pattern.

Have a pin on Samsung S4 Active that I need to do a soft reset not to loose data or email. I have tried: Went to AT&T website that handles our phone no soft reset. I think it was caused by: User forgot his 4 digit pin to access the phone

Use your Samsung Account on the PC as stated above to remotely access your phone, or the Google Account. A soft reset on a Galaxy phone is often done by just taking out the battery for a few minutes. This can also be done by holding down the power button for 20 seconds until the device restarts.

My phone reset today and it keeps telling me my password is incorrect?

Use your Google Account. By reset do you mean updated the OS? Many people had issues with their pinlock codes after the upgrade from Kitkat to Lollipop OS. You can still access with the Google Account last synced to the device though so try that by clicking Forgot Password once you see it as an option.

Hi, my phone S4 is being off automatically, what should I do?

Hi my phone S4 is being off automatically, what should I do? I can switch it on easily by pressing the switch on button

Get a can of forced air and spray around your power button. Remove the back and spray around the battery connections after you have removed the battery. If your battery appears warped or distorted then this would be the issue. See if the phone now operates normally. If not then hard reset the device and wait again to see if everything is OK. If not then replace your battery. This is the most expensive fix so that is why you should try the other two solutions first. If your battery is super hot, warped and distorted then you will need to replace it immediately. Some Samsung batteries with BD in the serial number came stock with the Galaxy S4 and were corrupted which caused this error however, the same thing happened to my friend's phone and they still had to spray the forced air and reset the device before it worked properly again. Keep that can of forced air because once a month they have to spray the power button area or the phone does this again.

Hi, could you please advise as to how can I reset my password on my Samsung S4 as the CM Applock is preventing me from accessing my texts and emails and many other applications. Thank you?

The CM Applock has taken over my Samsung S4 in that it is preventing me from accessing my other apps as it is asking for a password. Thanks
