My dog is 60 days pregnant and her vulva is not swelled?

I have a Yorkie that is 60 days pregnant and her vulva hasn't swelled up at all. Is there a medical reason this would happen? Is this an indicator that she will need a c-section? I have never had a dog not swell before so I'm a bit confused. Thanks for your help.

Your Yorkie's vulva should have swelled around day 53. If it has not swollen at this point, you need to take your dog to the veterinarian or an animal emergency hospital to get her the proper care that she needs. As a result of her non-swollen vulva, she may indeed need a c-section. Take her to the vet as soon as you can; the longer you wait to take to the vet, the bigger the possibility is that she could be seriously harmed by whatever is going wrong with her pregnancy.
